In January, Kona Snow was passed out to each of the members, with instructions to use it as the background for red and blue Wonky Star blocks. At the February meeting members brought an impressive array of blocks, which will now be assembled into a Quilts of Valor quilt for a local veteran.
This month the Group Sew project is a 12 inch block that is primarily an exercise in color value. See the pattern for the specific placement of light, medium and dark fabrics. Make and bring as many blocks as you like to the next meeting on March 21. Someone will go home with all the blocks!
