December - CAMQG Group Projects

 At the December meeting (annual Christmas party) of the CAMQG, several of the group projects worked on throughout the year were shared with the group.

 First, Jamie shared progress on one of our paper pieced charity quilts.  The binding just need to be hand sewn, and then it is ready to donate!













Next, Mary Ellen shared our Wonky Star Quilts of Valor quilt.  It also just needs the binding hand sewn.






























Finally, the Pick Up Sticks blocks were raffled off, and Jamie won!

CAMQG November Meeting

The last meeting of CAMQG was on November 21, 2017.  Review the meeting minutes, and get ready for the holiday party on December 19!

Pat showed us 1 of 6 quilts she is sewing for her grandchildren.

She also shared several quilts she made for a dear friend who lost a son to cancer at a very early age.













Cordell is trying to get rid of her Aunt’s cotton by creating quilts that she will thenbeing donating to the Red Cross in her home state of Wisconsin.

 She also put together 2 small quilts for dolls.













Janet used a pattern from the Modern Quilt Guild with a few adaptions to make this bed size quilt. MaryEllen did the quilting.















Lois made a quilt top on point from the Midnight Quilt Show on Craftsy using a jelly roll.















 Sigurd made a beautiful zebra pillow

















She also put together a gorgeous quilt top using Moda Modern quilting blocks
















Donna made a great apron


















Debbie was very busy with the following winter themed quilts:




Leslie is making baby quilts for the Linus Project.
















 


Debby made a lap quilt using Moda Merrily fabric from Gingiber.











 
Gay put together a Camelle Ross Kelly pattern
