February Meeting

Hope everyone is staying warm in these snowy cold days.  I am so ready for spring!

Gay made this beautiful stain glass window quilt that she adapted from the pattern Stain Glass Windows from Quilty Love. She has it hanging in her kitchen. She also provided some close ups of the beautiful quilting.

Gay also made this quilt top from the recent Modern Quilt Guild Journal titled, Porfee.

Debby M. created this quilt during 2020 as she followed  the Modern HST BOM on Instagram. She is using up her stash of Batiks which she has collected for  over 25 years.

Lois put together this beautiful quilt top she made during a sew along in 2020.

Here are some close ups of the blocks.

Alice made 3 gorgeous quilts using the same pattern, Ring-A Round a Posey by Robin Pickins. Each one is gift for friends.

She also made this small wall hanging using wool appliques.

If you have a picture of your February Sew and Share quilt or project that you shared at our meeting please email it to Debby M.

We hope everyone is working on the challenge for April. We're looking forward to your postcard stories.

January Meeting

We began the new year Zooming. Below you'll find some of the beautiful quilts our members are working on or finished.

Our guild has a display at the Cornerstone Coffee Shop in Camp Hill this month. Here is a glimpse at the display.

Lugene made this beautiful table runner. She said the math was a bit challenging but the results are beautiful!

Alice completed this First Flake Quilt pattern. The pattern can be found on Etsy.
She is also working on these two quilts.

Debbie L. made this Song Dotz quilt top from a kit. She has also been doing Debby Brown's Color Block Quilt Along. This was January's block. Both Debbie and her mom took the Improve class and made these great looking improv log cabin blocks.

Joan found a snowman quilt pattern she liked online and drew her own pattern. She is also working on this comfort quilt which she plans to donate.

Gay made this mid-century quilt for her brother and this Christmas quilt.

Karen has been busy working on her improv skills. The colors work so well together.

Our newest member, Roxanne, shared some of her quilts with us. Glad to have her join our guild.

Debby M. used some Charley Harper fabric to create this table runner.
