Lois shared her "On Point Quilt" from Angela Walters and the Midnight Quilt show. She quilted it herself, using a stencil that Sigrid made for her.
Sigrid shared a quilt that she designed in EQ as an experiment with color placement. It all paper pieced, but not finished yet. The idea was to use up her stash, but she says it isn't even making a dent.
Karen wanted to try a Dresden Plate, so she used the black, yellow and gray fabric that she won at the 2017 guild Christmas party. She also made her pants from a wonderful ponte fabric and a Vogue pattern.
Barb shared a quilt she started in 2010 and just finished in January. She started with a piece with odd edges, and then worked outward from there. She says she loves to embroider!
Nancy's quilt is from a Missouri Star Quilt Co. pattern called "Pecking Order", which can be found on their website as a free download. She says she "quilted it like crazy in great big circles." She's also proud that she bought the back from $6 on sale.
Amy made a Chubby Charmer tote, which she started several years ago and recently finished. (The pattern is by Penn Sturgis by Quilts Illustrated.)
Amy also finished a quilt for her Mom's birthday, and Mary Ellen quilted it for her. The quilt pattern is called Chickadee Window by Jackie Robinson.
She also shared what she received and what she made for the MQG mini-swap. To make her mini-swap quilt, she did lots of searching and asked lots of questions to try to figure out what to make for her swap partner.
She also showed her church quilt camp project, which was a MSQC quilting tutorial called three big bags from one jelly roll.
Mary Ellen also showed a Victoria Findley Wolfe project "15 Minutes of Play", featuring quilted hearts on the back, and then shared a cat mosiac quilt from Cheryl Lynch Quilts.
Cindy said her quilt is the "bright quilt you'll see this year". This is a Leah Day sampler, which she started in January and finished in the beginning of February. She said it was a good refresher on basic techniques.
